Life Insurance Policy Proceeds Support the University's Mission

Dan and Michelle (Pixley) '86 Reichert designated Viterbo as the beneficiary on one of their policies. In this scenario, Viterbo will apply the policy proceeds to university purposes designated by Reicherts. With a paid policy, the Reicherts receive gift credit and an income tax reduction based on the policy's value. If the policy is not yet paid, cash contributions cover future premium payments, and an income tax reduction can be claimed for each of those payments.

Their generous gift comes at a comparatively low cost, while providing support for the university and strengthening Viterbo's mission of preparing students for faithful service and ethical leadership.
